Accountant
Position Overview
We're partnering with a expanding business in the residential services industry. As we prepare to launch in new markets like California and Washington, we're seeking an In-House CPA Accountant to help strengthen our financial infrastructure and support our next phase of growth. We're a team that values innovation, customer satisfaction, and bold expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle state and federal tax filings, including sales and income tax
- Keep financial records accurate and aligned with GAAP
- Oversee accounting across multiple states and ensure tax compliance
- Improve internal processes to support company growth
- Manage finances in QuickBooks Online (must be proficient)
- Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy
- Ensure all financial reports meet regulatory standards
- Work with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax laws
- Experience in corporate accounting and public accounting
- Knowledge of multi-state tax regulations
- Familiarity with income tax and sales tax filing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
