Comprehensive hospital and unit orientation provided

Weekend Rotation:

Every other weekend (variable based on need)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (travel nursing experience preferred)

Active Registered Nurse license (Washington state or compact RN license)

BLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (AWHONN) certifications required

High-acuity labor and delivery experience with high-risk OB patients

Proficient in OB triage, circulating in OR, cervical checks, and fetal monitoring interpretation

EPIC EMR experience required

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Manage labor and delivery care for high-risk obstetric patients, including hypertension, preterm labor, C-sections, and postpartum hemorrhage

Provide comprehensive care for birthing patients and newborns during transition and recovery

Perform and interpret fetal monitoring, administer medications, and follow clinical protocols

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including CNAs, scrub techs, charge nurses, and physicians

Float to antepartum and postpartum units as needed, based on experience and unit requirements

Participate in self-scheduling and adhere to fair holiday and weekend rotation policies

Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
