Shift:
12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week:
36 guaranteed
Weekend Rotation:
Every other weekend as needed
On Call:
24 hours per 4-week schedule period
Scrub Color:
Provided (navy blue)
Parking:
Free on-site
Estimated Weekly Salary:
$2240-$2400
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
Active Registered Nurse license in Washington or compact state
Required certifications: ACLS, NRP; ALSO certification preferred
Skilled in independent IV starts, lab draws, vaginal exams, labor support, and fetal monitor strip interpretation (NICHD guidelines)
Strong clinical, multi-tasking, communication, and adaptability skills
Experience with EMR (EPIC), Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and GE Corometrics monitors preferred
Prior travel nursing experience preferred (first-time travelers not accepted)
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive care to antepartum, laboring, and post-partum patients in a busy LDRP unit
Support approximately 200 deliveries per month, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team (CNAs, receptionists, charge nurses, phlebotomy, RTs, hospitalists, anesthesia providers)
Perform independent IV starts, lab draws, and accurate vaginal exams
Interpret fetal monitor strips and respond to changes in patient status
Float to Mother Baby unit as needed
Participate in weekend and holiday rotations, and fulfill on-call requirements
Maintain high standards of patient safety, communication, and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment
