About the Role
Safely operate company truck to transport elevator equipment, tools, and materials between warehouse, job sites, and vendor locations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery and pickup of materials per dispatch or supervisor instructions.
- Load and unload materials with care to prevent damage.
- Secure cargo following DOT regulations and company policies.
- Verify delivery contents with packing slips, job numbers, and delivery tickets.
- Coordinate with field technicians and project managers to deliver necessary parts and tools to job sites.
- Assist in moving heavy equipment or materials at job locations as needed.
- Provide documentation or signatures required for delivery verification.
- Communicate any delivery issues or delays promptly to supervisor.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory such as elevator components, tools, and supplies.
- Maintain organized and labeled storage areas for easy access and tracking.
- Prepare outbound shipments and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
- Track inventory levels and notify supervisor of low stock or reordering needs.
- Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on delivery vehicle.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Keep vehicle and warehouse areas clean and in compliance with safety standards.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, inventory movements, and vehicle logs.
- Follow all safety protocols and use proper PPE in warehouse and jobsite environments.
- Ensure adherence to DOT regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards.
- Complete any required safety or compliance training.

Active Driver's License
Pay range
$20 - $26/hour
