Travel Assess and monitor cancer patients’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial status through interviews, exams, and observations. Administer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive infusions as prescribed by the oncologist. Manage symptoms and side effects of cancer and its treatments, using evidence-based interventions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams as needed. Educate patients and families about diagnosis, expected treatments, self-care, and symptom management, often adapting information to patient preferences and needs. Provide emotional support, advocacy, and companionship for patients and their loved ones throughout treatment, acting as a stability pillar during difficult times. Document all assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses in the medical record and maintain up-to-date clinical documentation.
