16 weeks (option to extend up to 32 weeks)

Hours:

36 hours/week

Shift:

12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Evening); includes call and weekend rotation

Holiday Coverage:

Work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)

Float Requirement:

Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus (flexibility required)

Estimated Weekly Salary:

$2410–$2580

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Vermont nursing jobs

BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred

Minimum 1 year of CVOR nursing experience (will consider candidates with strong skills from similar teaching hospitals)

Prior travel nursing experience required

Experience circulating cases required; scrub experience preferred

Recent Epic EMR experience (within past 2 years) required

Strong clinical knowledge in ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro

Experience in large, teaching hospital settings required

Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation)

Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires November–April

CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver expert nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, circulating and scrubbing on diverse surgical cases

Participate in call and weekend rotations

Float to Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus as needed

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a teaching hospital environment

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet unit needs

Work two major holidays during assignment

Ensure complete documentation of work history and employment gaps for submission
