Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Neuro nursing experience

Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Experience with neuro, oncology, and general surgery patients

Proficiency in administering anti-arrhythmic and anti-seizure IV medications

Preferred:

Chemo certification

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Monitor and assess telemetry patients in the Neuro unit

Deliver high-quality patient care to neuro, oncology, and surgical populations

Administer IV medications, including anti-arrhythmic and anti-seizure treatments

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery
