JOB DESCRIPTION: Summary: Responsible for accurately picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and maintaining inventory of products and raw materials to fulfill customer orders. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 13485 guidelines.
Key Responsibilities: Pick items using RF scanners or voice-picking systems to fulfill customer orders accurately. Pack and ship customer orders, ensuring correct lot numbers, shipping temperatures, addresses, and shipping methods. Receive incoming materials, verify accuracy against packing lists, bills of lading, and purchase orders, and store them at the appropriate temperature (refrigerated, frozen, or ambient). Inspect incoming and outgoing goods, reporting any discrepancies or damaged materials. Maintain accurate inventory by examining, stocking, and distributing materials as required. Label and document all materials according to company procedures. Perform administrative tasks such as preparing and maintaining shipping and receiving documentation, coordinating shipments, and entering data into inventory management systems. Identify and help resolve issues related to logistics, customer orders, or warehouse operations. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and man-up order pickers safely and efficiently. Follow established GMP and ISO 13485 standards to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance. Work Environment:
Work may be performed in various temperature-controlled environments (refrigerated, frozen, or ambient). Qualifications:
Experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations preferred. Familiarity with RF or voice-picking systems a plus. Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment (certification may be required). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and order fulfillment. Commitment to maintaining GMP and ISO 13485 compliance.
