Role Description

Responsibilities will include flowback management and initial lift install, production surveillance and optimization, failure identification, workover design, chemical program management, and LOE stewardship for the area. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all production reporting and allocations of commingled batteries.
  • Design and manage new facility designs and construction while also helping to efficiently downsize existing batteries.
  • Must be knowledgeable in emissions regulations set forth by TCEQ and TRRC, keeping up to date with regulatory changes and ensuring all facilities stay compliant.
  • Work with lease operators to identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within a production battery.
  • Coordinate with the field operations teams to optimize base production and reduce downtime. Must be in field office in Orla, TX daily.
  • Design, optimize, and troubleshoot artificial lift systems including gas lift, ESP, rod pump, and plunger lift.
  • Manage and optimize chemical programs treating scale, corrosion, H2S, etc.
  • Create AFE’s and procedures for new drill flowbacks, workovers, recompletions, and well maintenance operations.
  • Will be rotating as wellsite supervisor to execute workover operations and initial completions operations. This could mean 2-3 weeks at a time in the field.
  • Lead regularly scheduled well reviews with field operations and lease operators.
  • Track and monitor LOE and capital spending to ensure compliance with budgets.
  • Demonstrate Health, Safety & Environmental leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience with gas lift, ESPs and other artificial lift methods
  • Demonstrated experience with horizontal well production in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated work experience in the areas of artificial lift, production, workover operations and project economics.
  • Proficiency with PC based programs, specifically Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Power Point) and Spotfire.
