Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure care complies with federal, state, and local standards and regulations; follow directives from the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to maintain the highest quality of care.
• Provide data to the Quality Assurance & Assessment Committee as requested.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Participation in continuing education classes, workshops, and seminars affiliated with outside nursing organizations is desirable.
• On-the-job training provided.
