• Shifts: Part-time (6am-2:30pm)
• Pay Grade: Up to $42 per hour

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nurses and nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Meet with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shift’s services, programs, and activities.
• Ensure that all nursing service personnel comply with the procedures in the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your unit as required to the Director of Nursing.
• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon resident admission, transfer, and/or discharge, maintaining compliance with the center’s medical records system (electronic or paper).
• Review all new admission charts for accuracy and completeness; follow up on identified issues and forward summary of findings to the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: On-the-job training provided.
