ICU Registered Nurse – Travel Nursing Job in Saratoga Springs, NY

• Location: Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 (Upstate New York nursing jobs)
• Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse – Travel Nursing
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/3/2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,880 - $2,020
• County Restrictions: Candidates must not reside in Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, or Albany counties
• Holiday Coverage: Must be available to work through holidays; every other weekend/holiday required

ICU RN Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Knowledge of hypothermia protocols, balloon pumps, and pulmonary artery lines
• Must pass an on-site, timed, closed-book ECG exam (study materials provided)
• Physical exam required upon hire
• COVID credentialing terms apply
• Not eligible if employed as staff at this facility in the past year or within AMC network in the past six months

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and manage patients with complex cardiac and respiratory conditions
• Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
• Respond to emergencies and perform advanced clinical interventions
• Participate in ongoing education and complete required ECG exam upon arrival
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including county residency restrictions and holiday/weekend scheduling
