Registered Nurse – Pulmonary (Night Shift)

Location: Gainesville, FL 32601

Shift: 12-hr Nights | 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Job Type: Permanent

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

What You Will Do In This Role

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Advocate for patients as a key member of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and care priorities.
• Identify and implement individualized care plans and expected outcomes.
• Actively promote and support patient safety at all levels of care.
• Efficiently manage time, supplies, and equipment for quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments.
• Provide ongoing emotional and clinical support throughout the patient’s stay.

Qualifications

• Licensure:
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida or Multistate License
• Must be eligible to obtain FL licensure prior to start
• Education:
• Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required
• Certifications (Required):
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (must be obtained before start date)
• NIH Stroke Scale – must be obtained within 30 days of employment
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) – must be obtained within 30 days
