Registered Nurse– Renal Vascular (Night Shift)

Location: Gainesville, FL, 32601

Shift: 12-hr Nights | 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Job Type: Permanent

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

What You Will Do In This Role

• Comprehensive Assessment: Collect detailed data related to the patient’s health and circumstances.
• Patient Advocacy: Actively advocate for patients within an interdisciplinary care team.
• Diagnosis and Care Planning: Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and create individualized care plans.
• Outcome Identification: Identify expected outcomes for each patient’s care plan.
• Patient Safety: Ensure patient safety is a top priority, while effectively managing time, supplies, and equipment.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about medications, procedures, and treatments, providing ongoing support throughout their stay.

Required Requirements

• Experience: At least 6 months to 1 year of acute care RN experience (open to other RN backgrounds).
• Licensure: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, or be able to obtain licensure before starting.
• Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required, BSN preferred.
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA Healthcare Provider required before start.
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be completed within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
