Overview

The Office Administrator will support a large office in the Portland area. They will provide a wide variety of administrative support tasks for a large corporate office and should have experience in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supplies and inventory management, including ordering supplies and snacks and organizing them in the office and kitchen, managing relationships with vendors
  • Office and kitchen overall organization and maintenance
  • Facilities support, including coordinating with a plumber, electrician, or repairman as needed
  • Supporting new hire onboarding
  • Represent the company professionally as the first point of contact at reception
  • Support for AP processes for vendor invoices and internal expenses
  • Preparing the office, catering, conference rooms, etc. for visits from Executives
  • Any other ad hoc administrative support duties as they arise

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an office administrative role
  • Experience supporting an office staff, rather than an executive
  • Experience with AP support and invoicing

Additional information

This is a 6-12 month contract-to-hire position. The role will begin as a contractor with the aim to convert to direct/permanent employment in 2026. Pay may vary based on candidate experience with health, dental, vision, 401k, commuter, and mental health benefits available.
