Talent Acquisition Specialist | DC, MD, VA | HR & SCL | LHH Recruitment Solutions
LHH is partnering with a nonprofit organization in the Washington, DC area to recruit a Front Office Coordinator to support front office and administrative tasks. This is a temporary position with the potential to convert to permanent. Pay is between $21-$24 per hour, which equates to approximately $50,000-$53,000 annually once converted, based on experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of office support experience and the ability to start as soon as this week. This position requires onsite work 5 days a week and offers free parking.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate restocking as needed
- Support administrative staff with various tasks and projects
- Assist with event coordination and preparation
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy and organized
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office support or front desk role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- Ability to start immediately and commit to onsite work 5 days a week
- Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
