LHH is partnering with a nonprofit organization in the Washington, DC area to recruit a Front Office Coordinator to support front office and administrative tasks. This is a temporary position with the potential to convert to permanent. Pay is between $21-$24 per hour, which equates to approximately $50,000-$53,000 annually once converted, based on experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of office support experience and the ability to start as soon as this week. This position requires onsite work 5 days a week and offers free parking.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors and guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate restocking as needed
  • Support administrative staff with various tasks and projects
  • Assist with event coordination and preparation
  • Ensure the front desk area is tidy and organized
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office support or front desk role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to start immediately and commit to onsite work 5 days a week
  • Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
