Responsibilities

Assess the effectiveness of existing controls, identifying areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes. Drive controls enhancements focused on increasing efficiency and reducing risk. Drive execution of Enterprise Risk Management Framework and adherence with Risk Management/Compliance Policies. Support oversight of the MCA program, including attestation, quality oversight, and related reporting. Drive execution of the MCA in accordance with the ORM Policy & Framework, as well as applicable Policies, Standards, and Procedures. Assess activities and processes per required Policies, Standards and Procedures to strengthen risk management quality. Coordinate and comprehensively manage issues with key stakeholders. Drive issue quality reviews ensuring compliance with Policy, Standards and Procedures. Manage the development and implementation of standardized risk and controls reporting to ensure sound, reliable, and consistent information across the organization for senior management, the Board, and Regulators. Manage the operations of Citi's governance committees, including coordinating meetings, managing agendas, and ensuring follow-up on action items. Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with laws and regulations, applying ethical judgment, escalating and reporting control issues with transparency, and supervising teams to maintain standards. Qualifications

10+ years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry. Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls. Track record leading control-related projects and programs; ability to see the big picture with attention to critical details. Develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives. Comprehensive knowledge of Citi’s businesses and functions and their risk profiles. Developing new ideas and improving current processes to proactively mitigate risks. Ability to provide challenge and make recommendations for risk and controls remediation; expert knowledge in development and execution of controls. Proven experience in control-related functions in the financial industry and implementing sustainable solutions. Expert understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices; deep understanding of Citi’s Policies, Standards, and Procedures. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities; ability to deliver compelling presentations to executive audiences. Strong sense of accountability with results orientation; excellent communication skills to engage and inspire across stakeholder groups. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Education

Bachelor\'s/University degree, Master\'s degree preferred Job Details
