If so, we are working on a Fund Accountant role that would be a great fit for your background. A Westside financial services company is looking to hire a Fund Accountant to support their growing organization. In this role, the Fund Accountant will be responsible for interacting with fund managers and administrators, external auditors, and account managers and supporting the accounting of various funds. Take a lead role in onboarding new investors into alternative investment vehicles. Act as the central point of contact between fund managers, administrators, auditors, and internal client service teams. Track incoming subscription materials and produce accurate fundraising reports. Ensure capital calls, distributions, and other routine transactions are executed correctly and on schedule. Review investment-related agreements and collaborate with legal and compliance partners as needed. Maintain updated records of fund terms and conditions across the portfolio. Manage the approval process for alternative investment offerings with major custodians (e.g., Fidelity and Schwab). Keep detailed records of revised legal agreements, investor side letters, and MFN provisions. Assist with the creation and review of financial statements and NAV reporting for private funds on a monthly/quarterly basis. Partner with external audit teams to support timely financial statement reviews. Support treasury activities, including liquidity management and oversight of credit facilities. Validate and reconcile investor subscriptions and redemptions. Supervise the activities and output of external fund administrators. Coordinate with portfolio companies to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results. Prepare analyses and respond to special requests from firm leadership. Identify process gaps and drive efficiency improvements across workflows. Contribute to special initiatives such as new system rollouts and operational enhancements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field 2-4 years of public accounting experience Must have financial services clients Advanced Excel CPA tracking What this role offers
