Robbins Recruiting has partnered with a company aiming to drive growth across accounting and professional service firms in the United States. With over ten partner firms, several deals under LOI, and substantial committed capital, they are poised to become a top 40 firm in aggregate revenue and plan to expand into a multi-country platform. They are seeking an experienced Regional Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support their portfolio companies across the West Coast region. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a private equity-backed organization and influence people strategy, culture, and talent development. This position is remote based in Denver, CO with 20-30% travel

Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership: Serve as the primary HRBP for portfolio companies across the region, partnering with business leaders to provide strategic guidance on HR matters including organizational design, employee relations, and performance management.

Talent Management & Development: Collaborate with HQ to design talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee development strategies aligned with the needs of the supported firms. Ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent in line with business objectives.

Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee relations issues, fostering a positive and compliant work environment across local, state, and federal employment laws.

Performance & Culture: Lead performance management initiatives aligned with HQ to support individual and organizational growth; partner with leadership to drive a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.

Change Management: Lead and support organizational change initiatives in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment.

Compensation & Benefits: Advise leadership on compensation strategies aligned with objectives and market competitiveness; support benefits administration and strive for high employee satisfaction.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies across the region.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Use HR metrics and analytics to provide insights on trends, workforce planning, and performance; make data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.

Employee Engagement & Wellbeing: Champion initiatives to drive engagement and a positive organizational culture; implement wellbeing programs and support employees throughout their careers.

Qualifications

5+ years of HRBP experience, with strong background in private equity, M&A, or accounting environments.

Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and best practices, especially in contexts of rapid growth, change, and transformation.

Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with business leaders at all levels.

In-depth knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations within West Region states and local municipalities.

Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and communication skills.

Experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, or private equity-backed organizations is highly preferred.

Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.

Compensation Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 a year

Bonus: 10% annual bonus
