What will you do? As an experienced
asset integrity specialist , your expertise is vital in helping us protect people, assets, and the environment – making you an essential part of our mission. With expertise in Process Safety Management and Asset Integrity, you will lead specific workstreams within a broader Process Safety Management (PSM) / Operational Risk Management (ORM) transformation program, identifying, designing, and implementing effective solutions in your area of expertise. You will provide subject matter expertise and lead project teams to help clients establish and implement robust Risk Assessment and Process Hazard Analysis programs, and build organizational capabilities to sustain performance.
Responsibilities
Lead client teams and drive the execution of consulting engagements in integrated Asset Integrity Management as part of a wider process safety management or transformational engagement. Include structuring, sequencing, and leading client engagements with direct responsibility for assessment and improvement of asset integrity management across the following scopes:
All sub-elements of asset integrity management (e.g., quality assurance, maintenance and reliability strategy and tactics, inspection & test, repair, work management, codes and standards, competence management, reliability engineering, root cause analysis, etc.).
All equipment classes (static equipment, rotating equipment, safety instrumented functions, pipelines, electrical, etc.).
All interfaces with other process safety management elements (e.g., process hazard analysis, management of change, pre-start up safety reviews, incident investigation, etc.).
Oversee and perform checks and analyses to develop improved asset reliability at client sites and support clients in developing appropriate Work Management practices to enhance Maintenance and Reliability programs.
Communicate progress and outcomes to client stakeholders and proactively identify issues and risks related to delivery activities, liaising with the wider project team to evaluate potential solutions and pursue the optimal course of action to minimize adverse impact and maximize project success.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and maintenance leaders, facilitating decisions on asset integrity outcomes and proactively identifying issues and risks, liaising with the wider project team to evaluate possible solutions and maximize project success.
Contribute to thought leadership on Asset Integrity methodologies and mentor junior colleagues, participating in functional and industry networks to develop and share best practices.
Who are you? You are a recognized
Subject Matter Expert in Asset Integrity , with extensive experience applying process safety principles in operational environments. Your experience and expertise include:
Leadership positions in asset integrity/maintenance and reliability within operating industrial plants, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, or metal processing industries.
Experience developing procedures to define key system requirements, analysis, problem solving, governance mechanisms, and KPIs to monitor Asset Integrity Management across all sub-elements.
Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills to work in multi-cultural, multidisciplinary teams, with effective leadership to drive execution in complex environments.
Knowledge of Recognised and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) such as ASME, API, NACE, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent (MSc or MBA preferred).
Approximately 12+ years of experience in asset integrity, maintenance, or engineering.
Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
Willingness to travel extensively.
