University IT (UIT), part of the Business Affairs organization at Stanford University, is dedicated to delivering world-class service and technological solutions to advance research, teaching and learning, administration, and healthcare. UIT is embarking on a long-term strategy to plan, replace, and implement new cloud-based solutions for several enterprise-wide systems. UIT seeks an experienced Integration Developer to support the technical implementation of the University’s cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) software application suite as part of the Pinnacle program. Pinnacle includes the replacement of the legacy HR, Payroll and Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) systems. The Integration Developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, and development of integration solutions for multiple clouds and on-premise applications that are part of the Pinnacle program. Implementation of the new cloud-based HCM application is jointly sponsored by University HR and University IT. Responsibilities

Conceptualize design, implement, and develop solutions for complex system/programs independently. Work with a variety of users to gain information, and develop intra-system tradeoffs between different users, as necessary; interact with a diverse client base and outside vendor contacts. Document system builds and application configurations; maintain and update documentation as needed. Provide technical analysis, design, development, conversion, and implementation work. Collaborate with technical architects & leads, project managers, developers, business analysts, technical administrators, testers, and vendors. Serve as a technical resource for applications. Compare, evaluate, and implement new features and technologies, and integrate them into the computing environment. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical integration problems. Follow team software development methodology. Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or related field and five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying data integrations. Experience with API and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk). Experience with data design, integration architecture, and data modeling in distributed cloud/hybrid environments. Hands-on experience and expertise in Advanced SQL, AWS and other data engineering tools, SnapLogic, Oracle Cloud and other open source tools. Experience with Git/svn, merging, managing branches, and resolving conflicts. Experience with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle. Experience with project management practices, frameworks, and methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall). Experience with software engineering principles/processes (e.g. Lean, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) and continuous improvement through measurement. Ability to translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture, design and high performing software. Ability to define and solve logical problems for highly technical applications. Ability to select, adapt, and effectively use a variety of programming methods. Ability to recognize and recommend needed changes in user and operations procedures including participation in code reviews. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and programming tools. Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients. Experience with integration platform tools (SnapLogic, Amazon API Gateway, Oracle Cloud Integration). Experience with manual/automated functional testing and unit testing. Experience with low-code technologies like Oracle APEX. Physical Requirements

Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks. Frequently sit, grasp lightly/fine manipulation. Occasionally stand/walk, use a telephone. Rarely writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds. Working Conditions
