Patient Access Specialist - Contract

LHH is seeking an experienced Patient Access candidate for our client near Blue Ash in Cincinnati. We are seeking someone with experience in the Epic system, to help a busy clinic with Patient check-in/check-out functions. Please apply today, we are hiring immediately!
Job Details:
100% onsite / Contract
Perform registration and scheduling for hospital-based or outpatient services
Collect and verify patient demographics and insurance information
Collect copays, deposits, and deductibles
Use standardized scripting to ensure legal and financial compliance
Educate patients on: Insurance benefits
Out-of-pocket costs
Financial assistance resources
Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and patient safety
Assist with wayfinding, transportation, and visitor needs
Communicate with ancillary departments to coordinate care
Monday - Friday, 8AM-430PM
Qualifications include: 2 or more years of experience in Medical Front Office + prior Epic experience
Pay Details:
$22.00 to $24.00 per hour
