Building Attendant
Under regular supervision, performs responsible custodial work in the maintenance of assigned facilities of the Facilities Maintenance Division of the Central Services Department. Work involves performing duties and operating machinery (custodial machinery such as mop machine and other general commercial building cleaning tools) necessary for the development and maintenance of a clean, orderly, and sanitary building; and supporting the rental of Greenville Municipal Auditorium and Fletcher Warren Civic Center when required. Other duties and responsibilities include internal mail delivery, custodial supply delivery, and raising/lowering of flags at all City locations. Reports to the Fleet & Building Services Superintendent.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent with preferred six months of experience with custodial, inventory work, floor maintenance, and basic computer skills; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have a valid Texas State driver's license.
