Insight Global is seeking an experienced, results-oriented IT professional to provide innovative solutions, manage complex projects, and ensure the seamless operation of IT infrastructure at an AM 100 law firm. The Lead .NET Developer will be responsible for steering the creation and modernization of on-premises solutions built on .NET and SQL. The ideal candidate will architect and code resilient, multi-tier applications, optimize performance of existing services, and develop rigorous engineering disciplines and clean architecture. They will help lead the effort in translating complex business processes into applications for the company while you drive the technical vision that powers our core systems. We are looking for a hands-on development lead who can implement their vision to help the law firm software development efforts in this changing landscape.
1. Responsibilities • Lead the triage and response to client requests for new features, workflows, or data services, ensuring alignment with existing system architecture. • Analyze, document, and maintain a deep understanding of SSIS packages, SSRS reports, .NET applications, and SQL Server stored procedures critical to daily business operations. • Ensure stable and reliable operation of all legacy codebases and data processes, promptly diagnosing and resolving production issues as they arise. • Design and implement enhancements or new components in .NET and SQL Server, integrating seamlessly with existing infrastructure. • Collaborate with business u to clarify technical constraints and deliver solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements. • Track and manage technical debt within the system, proposing plans that balance risk and business value. • Contribute to and enhance internal standards for documentation, deployment procedures, and system monitoring to ensure long-term sustainability of the application environment.

This is a full-time role that is hybrid in the firm's Philadelphia office twice per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
Compensation: $140K to $160K per year annual salary.

Required Skills & Experience - 10+ years of work experience in .NET development. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field - PERSONALITY & PRESENCE IS KEY, must be passionate about development and have ongoing personal projects (in GitHub or elsewhere) - Must be familiar with .NET/C# full web stack development, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, ETL as well as automation & scripting in Powershell as they will be modernizing these tools
