Oversee the company\'s monthly and quarterly corporate financial statement consolidation process and preparation. Analyze foreign currency impacts in the consolidation system. Prepare footnotes and related schedules in accordance with IFRS for the statutory internal reporting package. Coordinate and review intercompany eliminations required in the consolidation. Provide ad hoc support for accounting policies and reporting inquiries, including process improvements to enhance efficiency. Support global accounting teams in analysis and resolution of monthly reporting issues. Assist with reporting related to legal entity transactions and reorganizations including divestitures and acquisitions. Liaise with external auditors and coordinate annual financial statement audits and semi-annual reporting packages to the parent company. Develop and maintain relationships with legal entity Controllers and the Global Business Services team to ensure accurate consolidated financial statements. Oversee staff preparation of monthly and quarterly financial work-papers and provide guidance on monthly reporting. Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations of the Consolidations ledger. Other ad hoc reporting such as preparation of financial statements for required government reports. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field. CPA designation preferred. Five or more years of progressive experience, including public accounting and positions in similar-sized companies, with leadership experience in building a finance team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively with internal staff, senior leadership, external partners, and advisors. Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Knowledge of SAP and EPM (Business Objects) reporting is a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially for technical accounting. Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, key controls, and related remediation activities. Salary Range and Benefits
The salary range for this role in Chicago, Illinois is $100k-$110k, plus an annual bonus, 401(k) match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits.
