Accounts Payable Specialist
who will be responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. The ideal candidate will review and process invoices and check requests, monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date, and resolve invoice discrepancies. We offer

Manage AP Inbox Filter and route invoices to corresponding co for approval Once invoices are approved for payment, prepare batches to be paid according to the corresponding accountant Cut checks once batches are approved by accountants and posted for payment (check runs occur on a weekly basis) Publish analytics and provide check run summaries to management Consolidate statements to ensure invoices are current and no invoices are missing Contact vendors to request missing invoices, W-9, and COI forms Download invoices from vendor websites Keep track of bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly bills to ensure timely payment Qualifications
5+ years of Accounts Payable experience Excellent Excel, Microsoft Office, and computer skills Experience in Large Volume Accounts Payable Lawson ERP experience is a plus Strong accuracy and attention to detail Able to perform under strict deadlines This position is FT in-person in Bethesda offices, M-F Qualifications (continued)
