MWR Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor (Marina)

This position is located in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department of Commander Navy Region Southwest (CNRSW). The primary purpose of this position is to ensure, through working and supervising construction and maintenance personnel in the safe and efficient construction and repair of recreational and athletic facilities. Additionally, the Marina and RV Park Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for forecasting material and manpower needs and organizing and directing resources.

Responsibilities Duties

comprise 40% of the incumbent's time and include but are not limited to:

Oversee and supervise construction and maintenance personnel in the safe and efficient construction and repair of recreational and athletic facilities.

Forecast material and manpower needs and organize and direct resources to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.

Must meet federal suitability requirements including successful completion of background investigation.

Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, bend, climb, stretch and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.

Must be able to lift and carry supplies and materials that weigh up to 40 pounds.

Use of hand trucks and dollies may be required.
