Responsibilities
Develops and manages implementation of comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to the Career Center's multiple stakeholders. In partnership with the DSA MarComm Office, develops branded marketing campaigns for new and existing initiatives including print, digital, and web content, including, but not limited to, multi-page booklets, flyers, print & digital advertisements, news releases, email newsletters, and large-format signage using Adobe Suite, Canva, and Salesforce.
Reports directly to DSA MarComm and consults regularly with Career Center leadership and staff to understand programs and services to determine the best ways to implement effective marketing strategies. Manages projects to ensure that they are completed by deadline and on budget. Works in partnership with these two teams to evaluate and implement new media tools to drive engagement and build awareness for all Career Center offerings.
Manages and grows engagement on the Career Center's social media platforms by creating and posting photos, videos, stories, answering comments, and consistently scheduling content. Oversees the website change and enhancement process in concert with the Division of Student Affairs and in cooperation with DSA MarComm. Evaluates and implements new media tools to drive engagement where appropriate.
Hires, supervises, and provides work direction to marketing and communications student staff and graduate assistants. Identifies, proposes, and helps conduct needed training and workshops for students in the areas of communications, marketing, and storytelling. Reviews and edits copy and marketing assets for various print and digital materials. Ensures that all marketing and communication collateral upholds university brand guidelines in visual design and writing style.
Reviews and edits all Career Center print and online content for consistency, accuracy, and ease of use. Ensuring content and design reflects Career Center branding and abides by University brand guidelines.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to media, communications, and/or marketing services; or high school diploma/equivalent and eight years of related experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)

Anticipated Salary Range The anticipated starting salary for this position is in the range of low-to-mid $50,000's, commensurate with experience and education.
