Strategic Planning and Execution: Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of cloud projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand needs, and ensure satisfaction with services. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor cloud engineers, architects, and project managers; foster collaboration and innovation. Problem and Risk Monitoring: Maintain a consistent, prioritized view of program-related issues and actively monitor external influences. Methodology Guiding: Guide program teams in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results. Risk Management: Develop and manage programmatic risk plans, including issues, risks, mitigation strategies, resources, and timeframes. Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources for project success and optimal utilization. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with cloud providers; negotiate contracts and SLAs to meet business needs. Budget Management: Oversee program budget and monitor spending to stay within constraints. Regulatory Compliance: Identify risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Communication: Report progress, challenges, and successes to senior management and stakeholders. Innovation and Improvement: Stay current with cloud technologies and trends; seek opportunities to improve cloud practices. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred (e.g., AWS/Azure). Experience: 10+ years IT experience, 5+ years in cloud computing and program management; proven track record leading cloud projects and teams. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud; familiarity with DevOps, containerization, and microservices. Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; capable of motivating diverse teams. Develop and execute migration roadmaps spanning 12-36 months with budgets from $10M to $50M+. Partner with CIOs and technology executives across units to align technical initiatives with business objectives. Establish governance frameworks ensuring HIPAA compliance, data security, and regulatory adherence throughout cloud transformation initiatives. Technical Architecture & Innovation
Architect hybrid and multi-cloud solutions optimized for healthcare workloads with fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and geographic redundancy. Address hybrid cloud deployment challenges: on-premises integration, data synchronization, network connectivity, and workload orchestration. Lead integrations between cloud platforms and healthcare systems (document management, HL7 messaging, clinical workflows). Modernize legacy applications via containerization, microservices, and Kubernetes-based cloud-native implementations. Collaborate with Architecture Review Boards to establish cloud-first design patterns and standards. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies including AI/ML for healthcare analytics and operations optimization. Cross-Functional Program Execution
Orchestrate large distributed teams of 50-100+ professionals (cloud architects, DevOps, developers, healthcare IT specialists). Manage complex stakeholder ecosystems including clinical leadership, IT operations, compliance, vendors, and executives. Implement risk mitigation for healthcare-specific challenges including patient safety, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. Promote modern engineering practices: Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containerization, and automated compliance monitoring.
