Overview
The Segment Analytics Transformation Director is responsible for developing, refining, and communicating Huntington's analytics strategy, monitoring strategic initiatives, and driving long-term growth and competitive advantage with analytics. This role works closely with senior leadership across the enterprise to enhance analytics organization, infrastructure, and capabilities to achieve organizational objectives. The leader should be comfortable with both technical subjects and business administration. This position reports to the SVP Retail Payments within the Enterprise Payments Organization. Responsibilities
Identify and ideate data and analytics initiatives to meet customer needs. Shape the data and analytics use-case roadmap and lead change management efforts to incorporate analytics products into business processes. Share insights with business segment stakeholders from analytics use cases, and iterate on future revisions and new use cases. Lead impact tracking for analytics within the segment and partner with the Enterprise Data and Analytics Director on corporate-wide impact tracking. Ensure that all models, AI/ML models and tools, and user-developed tools are appropriately documented and approved before use. Develop, refine, and communicate the business segment analytics strategy and current book of work. Coordinate with the Enterprise Data and Analytics Director and the Chief Data and Architecture Officer on enterprise support for the business line analytics needs. Support recruiting and onboarding for analytics roles. Maintain Huntington’s risk culture through early identification, communication, and proactive management and mitigation of financial risks. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications
Master’s degree in a STEM field or Business management discipline. 10+ years of business experience in analytics, strategic planning, management consulting, or a related field. 3+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams. Preferred Qualifications
Financial services background with experiences in marketing, logistics, risk assessment, and regulatory oversight. Ability to foster an inclusive and innovative working environment within the analytics team and across businesses. Demonstrated negotiation, influencing, partnership, and presentation/communication skills. Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions. Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job. Ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Management experience with strong coaching and mentoring skills to lead teams within a culture of trust and inclusivity. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills, able to coordinate multiple projects, and flexible with priorities. Work arrangement and status : Hybrid; Exempt Status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay); Workplace Type: Office. Some positions may be eligible for flexible work arrangements combining in-office and remote work. Specific arrangements provided by the hiring team. Compensation : $125,000.00 - $255,000.00 USD Annual. The range represents base compensation; actual may vary based on location, experience, and performance. Eligible for incentive compensation.
