This role will be based in West Chester, PA, Raynham, MA, Raritan, NJ, Warsaw, IN or West Palm Beach, FL. The Senior Director, U.S. Commercial will lead the sales growth and development of the Reconstructive Foot & Ankle business for the U.S. market. This individual will directly lead the Foot & Ankle sales force and partner with peers and leaders from other functions to develop and implement the strategy for successful and sustainable growth. They will represent J&J Medical Technology’s U.S. Foot & Ankle to all internal and external partners and find opportunities to achieve all business goals and objectives including, but not limited to, the financial targets each year. Responsibilities Act as the key champion for the product portfolio and continuously assess growth opportunities in the elective Foot & Ankle space; develop organizational design to ensure financial targets are achieved including sustainable sales growth. Develop and implement the U.S. Reconstructive Foot & Ankle and Limb Deformity commercial strategy (Organizational Design, Sites of Care, Channel Strategy, Society & Convention participation, and other Foot & Ankle/Limb Deformity insights). Partner with commercial peers to create dedicated sales focus for local implementation of strategies and initiatives. Serve as the U.S. Foot & Ankle leader and liaison to the broader Orthopaedic strategy across functions (Mergers & Divestitures, Global Education, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, R&D). Represent the U.S. Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle business to customers, external partners, and industry events. Advise Leadership on trends, challenges, and opportunities related to Foot & Ankle and Deformity Corrections. Establish relationships with key DPMs, Foot & Ankle surgeons, clinicians, and evaluators. Achieve Business Plan Objectives and sales goals/quotas using approved resources; ensure administrative duties are completed accurately and promptly. Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; uphold high integrity and ethics; escalate legal or ethical concerns as needed. Model and foster a positive, high-performance culture; lead and develop a capable team; manage talent and performance. Possess ability to work independently and autonomously; prefer placement at a J&J Orthopaedic location; up to 50% domestic travel may be required. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; MBA preferred Minimum of ten years of Sales and/or Marketing Leadership experience Minimum of five years of direct management experience Minimum two years of direct selling experience required; foot and ankle experience highly preferred Experience partnering with Marketing (Global and Regional), R&D, Business Development, Finance, HR, and/or Supply Chain to deliver business strategy Experience presenting and influencing executives on business decisions Proven ability to develop strategy and execute plans Experience collaborating across a large organization; strong communication and leadership skills Strong analytical and technical skills; ability to translate data into action Proven track record building a positive culture, high-performance team, and talent management Ability to work independently; located near a J&J Orthopaedic site preferred Up to 50% domestic travel Fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we’re developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments.
