Position overview and location details: The Senior Director, US Commercial will lead the sales growth and development of the Reconstructive Foot & Ankle business for the U.S. market. This role will directly lead the Foot & Ankle sales force and partner with peers and leaders from other functions to develop and implement strategies for successful and sustainable growth. The position can be based in West Chester, PA; Raynham, MA; Raritan, NJ; Warsaw, IN; or West Palm Beach, FL.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute the U.S. commercial strategy for Reconstructive Foot & Ankle and Limb Deformity, including organizational design, sites of care, channel strategy, and engagement in relevant societies and conventions.
Partner with commercial peers to create dedicated sales focus for local implementation of strategies and initiatives.
Serve as the U.S. Foot & Ankle leader and liaison to the broader Orthopaedic strategy across functions (Mergers & Divestitures, Global Education, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, R&D).
Represent the U.S. Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle business to customers, external partners, and industry events.
Advise Leadership on trends, challenges, and opportunities affecting Foot & Ankle and Deformity Corrections.
Establish rapport with key surgeons, clinicians, and evaluators to drive adoption and insights.
Achieve business plan objectives and sales goals using approved resources; ensure timely completion of administrative duties.
Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; uphold high integrity, ethics, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years in Sales and/or Marketing leadership.
Minimum of 5 years of direct management experience.
Minimum 2 years of direct selling experience required; Foot & Ankle experience highly preferred.
Experience partnering with Marketing (Global/Regional), R&D, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and other functions to deliver business strategy.
Proven ability to present to and influence executives; experience developing and executing strategic plans.
Strong analytical and technical skills; ability to operate in a large, matrixed organization.
Demonstrated success in building high-performance teams and talent management; ability to work independently.
Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
