Job Summary Disney’s Addressable Ad Operations team is seeking an Account Manager who will be an exceptional addition to our Sales and Advertising Operations team on one or more of our exciting brands. These brands are composed of The Walt Disney Company’s (NYSE: DIS) global entertainment and news television properties, owned television stations, as well as radio and publishing businesses. This includes the ABC Television Network, ABC Owned Television Stations Group, ABC Studios, ESPN, Hulu, Disney Channels Worldwide, Freeform, FX and National Geographic as well as Disney/ABC Domestic Television and Disney Media Distribution.

Role Overview

In this role, you will be partnered with one or more Account Executives who sell media space across Disney’s multitude of digital properties. Assigned campaigns could be direct, programmatic or a combination of both. The primary responsibilities for the Account Manager are to ensure proper campaign implementation, provide thoughtful optimization recommendations to aid campaign performance and delivery, and provide best-in-class customer service to our top-tier customer accounts. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role

Support high-profile and complex video/display ad campaigns for top-tier advertisers across all of Disney’s digital platforms.

Ensure accurate campaign set-up on ad server/SSPs.

Partner with various internal and external campaign stakeholders to ensure successful execution of direct and programmatic campaigns.

Assist clients with Direct, PMP and/or Programmatic Guaranteed set-up.

Secure campaign assets and drive creative kick-off calls.

Ensure client’s ad creative is to spec and communicate changes required to clients/DSPs.

Manage campaign implementation, including the trafficking of video/display assets and ad tags.

Provide top-tier client communication specifically related to the ad experience, programmatic offerings, delivery, optimization, reporting expectations, and billing reconciliation.

Leveraging automation to expedite accuracy and delivery where possible

Troubleshoot campaign performance by investigating ad server bugs, third-party discrepancies, and under-delivery issues

Test video/display assets across OTT, mobile, and desktop.

Provide full campaign delivery by providing screenshots and cadenced campaign reporting, inclusive of post-campaign reporting insights.

Support all advertisers strategically, regularly suggesting optimizations and insights around their campaigns to foster brand loyalty.

Project management of custom/complex ad offerings, including content sponsorships and new or intricate creative ad formats.

Become an authority in our direct business offerings/SSPs/the programmatic advertising ecosystem.

Collaborate with stakeholders to close out monthly billing and resolve monthly and ongoing invoicing queries for all managed campaigns.

On-call support may be required for after-hours client-related emergencies.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training Minimum:

2+ years professional advertising and/or media experience or 1+ year of experience in a large advertising sales (multi-brand portfolio) entertainment company, with a strong emphasis in client-facing positions, digital and online media experience preferred.

Digital ad trafficking experience in programmatic/direct/both.

Experience within the digital online ecosystem, including familiarity with third-party ad servers such as DCM, Adform, Innovid, etc., as well as ad serving technologies such as VAST and VPAID.

Familiarity with Advertising Research and Verification vendors like Nielsen, DoubleVerify, Integral Ad Science, Millard Brown, etc.

Professional written/verbal communication skills, both internally and externally with customers. Ability to articulate thoughts and concepts fluently. Strong relationship-building skills.

Quick learner and detail-oriented; strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proven project management skills with the ability to simultaneously manage and deliver requests from various stakeholders.

Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to quickly learn new productivity software tools.

Experience working with Google Ad Manager, Operative, and/or the Magnite SSP preferred, but not required.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree with a focus in media, advertising, or other meaningful experience.

Strong interest in the digital media, advertising, and emerging technology industries

Comfort with tech including consumer websites, mobile/tablet devices, OTT/connected TV platforms, industry ad servers and custom ad products

Familiar with a broad range of business functions including ad sales, creative services production, revenue operations, inventory planning, yield optimization and marketing

Knowledgeable about industry ad categories and online ad sales channels; ability to translate requirements into technical/operational solutions.

Familiar with technical troubleshooting tools

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $79,400.00-$106,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
