As a Civil Engineer and vital member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to design horizontal and vertical track alignments to shape lasting solutions for the future. You will perform civil design calculations, develop details, prepare sketches, impact analyses, and similar technical work as required. You’ll provide quantity calculations to prepare preconstruction cost estimates for rail/transit projects. Working alongside a team, you’ll work on projects from concept to completion. You’ll create design and drawings using software tools supporting our clients’ project goals and support the development of Contract Documents for Construction. You’ll assist in Construction Phase Services, reviewing Contractor submittals and requests for information to help ensure quality outcomes. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Engineer in Training Certification (EIT) / Professional Engineer (PE) preferred Demonstrated experience on rail and transit projects Proficiency with MicroStation and/or InRail (or AutoCAD) Knowledge of AREMA and local railroad criteria Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a team environment Excellent communication skills and strong client-service focus Support for plan set development meeting client expectations Benefits and compensation
