Base pay range $71,300.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
About the Opportunity At Jacobs, we are using our solutions in the Rail/Transit Industry to create a more connected and sustainable world—environmentally and socially. As a Civil Engineer and vital member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to design horizontal and vertical track alignments so we can shape lasting solutions for the future.
You will perform civil design calculations, develop details, prepare sketches, impact analyses, and similar technical work as required. We’ll ask you to provide quantity calculations to prepare preconstruction cost estimates for rail/transit projects. Working alongside a team, you’ll work on projects from concept to completion.
You’ll be responsible for creating design and drawings using software tools and resources supporting our clients’ overall project goals. You’ll support the development of Contract Documents for Construction. Also, by assisting in Construction Phase Services reviewing Contractor submittals and requests for information you’ll ensure we’re doing better together! Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Engineer in Training Certification (EIT)
Previous design intern experience
