Our Wholesale Solutions team at AXA XL operates in the dynamic world of Excess and Surplus lines and offers an opportunity to be part of an innovative team that has been unlocking the future since 1978, focusing on growth, new products, and serving wholesale partners with excellence. Responsibilities

As an Associate Underwriter, you will support the Underwriting team and act as the owner and principal facilitator of assigned accounts. You will perform front-to-end activities throughout the life cycle of renewal and prospect accounts from submission to expiration with Underwriting oversight. Pre-underwrite, evaluate risk, and assess completeness of the underwriting package before underwriter review. Communicate with Brokers on behalf of the Underwriters to collect account and insured information for risk analysis. Apply knowledge of line-of-business product underwriting rules and guidelines for pre-analysis support of submissions in preparation for quoting. Develop initial pricing, basic coverage structuring, quotation, and binder packages on behalf of the Underwriter. Collaborate with Underwriters, Brokers, Reinsurers, and internal units to manage the status and workflow of multiple tasks and accounts. Communicate account status to ensure completion of outstanding subjectivities needed to execute policy issuance and premium collection for bound accounts. Calculate base rating and apply experience modifications as part of underwriting packages completed by the Underwriting Support Unit for Underwriter review. Maintain awareness of task status and workflow across Underwriters, Brokers, Reinsurers, and AXA XL internal contacts to manage multiple tasks. Communicate account status and ensure completion of all tasks including premium collection as part of bound accounts. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations. Strong collaborative skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
