Overview
Vice President of Finance at Athens Services. Reporting to the CFO, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded executive to join our Finance team. The VP of Finance will oversee the financial aspects of the organization, provide financial guidance, implement financial strategies, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving financial success in a senior financial role. Responsibilities
Financial Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes to provide insights into the company's financial performance and future outlook. Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements; monitor compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies. Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and implement appropriate strategies to mitigate them; develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets. Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, investments, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity and maximize returns on surplus funds. Capital Management: Evaluate capital allocation decisions, including investments, acquisitions, and divestitures, to support long-term growth and shareholder value creation. Financial Systems and Processes: Continuously improve financial systems, processes, and infrastructure to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Leadership and Team Development: Provide strong leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning; mentor and develop team members to maximize their potential and contribution to the organization. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. CPA or CFA certification highly desirable. At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP+) in a large company with $500M+ revenue. Extensive knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results. High integrity, ethical standards, and professionalism. Salary
