Executive Assistant to Strategy/Legal/Gov Affairs
Santa Clara, CA or Remote Oklo is searching for a versatile Executive Assistant to the Strategy, Legal, and Government Affairs team. Position Overview:
Oklo is seeking an experienced, dynamic, technically capable Executive Assistant to support our team. This role requires administrative prowess, reliable execution, teamwork, and the ability to operate in a fast-moving company in the advanced fission (nuclear energy) and radioisotope production industries. The position reports to the Chief Legal and Strategy Officer (CLSO) and supports the CLSO and the Strategy, Legal, and Government Affairs teams. Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support to the CLSO and his team, including calendar management, coordinating meetings, and travel arrangements. Serve as a liaison between the CLSO and internal departments as well as external stakeholders. Process and distill a high volume of information, presenting it in a prioritized manner to the CLSO and team, and facilitate subsequent actions. Prepare and edit presentations, reports, and related documents, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Manage confidential information with discretion, upholding the company’s data protection standards. Proactively address and resolve administrative and technical challenges. Assist with project coordination to ensure milestones are met and updates are communicated effectively. Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects, showcasing resourcefulness and adaptability. Schedule events with key stakeholders efficiently and smoothly. Collaborate with other Executive Assistants in the company. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role, with preference for candidates familiar with technical environments. Strong technical proficiency and ability to adapt to new tools and software including Google Suite, Slack, Box, Atlassian, Asana, Microsoft Office, Greenhouse, Ramp, and Navan. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks. Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and challenges. Knowledge of the nuclear power industry is a plus but not required. Who you are:

Oklo has received a site use permit from the U.S. Department of Energy for a commercial advanced fission plant, was awarded fuel material from Idaho National Laboratory, and submitted the first custom combined license application for an advanced reactor to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Oklo is also developing advanced fuel recycling technologies in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. National Laboratories.
