Thanks for your interest in Oklo! We are searching for a Business Development Manager to join our fast paced, growing business team. This position will report to the SVP, Head of Business Development. Oklo's Business Development team helps large energy customers access reliable, low-cost, 24/7 clean power. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in advancing Oklo's go-to-market strategy, developing new customer relationships, and shaping strategic opportunities that accelerate deployment of our Aurora Powerhouses. You will work closely with hyperscalers, colocation providers, and industrial operators to help them achieve energy independence while avoiding grid bottlenecks and community competition. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and wants to shape the future of energy. Specific responsibilities
Support implementation of Oklo's go-to-market strategy and business development activities Build and manage a pipeline of hyper-scale, colocation, industrial, and government customers Meet and exceed sales goals through proactive outreach and strategic engagement Evaluate utility rate structures, tariffs, and site economics to inform customer proposals Develop proposals and support negotiations for power agreements and long-term contracts Represent Oklo at trade shows, conferences, and industry events Manage marketing and sales campaigns including events, webinars, digital content, and collateral Build and maintain relationships with customers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to influence long-term strategy Support site selection and land acquisition strategy for customer opportunities Collaborate across Business Development, External Affairs, Regulatory, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver Oklo's value proposition Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partner strategy and execution 5+ years of experience with commercial negotiations, working directly with procurement, legal, and business teams 3+ years of experience in the data center industry Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executives and stakeholders Experience developing pipelines, proposals, and long-term customer agreements Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms Bonus Qualifications
Experience promoting energy technologies to large, complex organizations across geographies Familiarity with nuclear energy technologies and the energy industry landscape Understanding of data and networking technologies, cloud computing growth drivers, and global market dynamics. Competencies

Salary:

Oklo Inc. is developing fast fission power plants to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy at scale; establishing a domestic supply chain for critical radioisotopes; and advancing nuclear fuel recycling to convert nuclear waste into clean energy. Oklo was the first to receive a site use permit from the U.S. Department of Energy for a commercial advanced fission plant, was awarded fuel material from Idaho National Laboratory, and submitted the first custom combined license application for an advanced reactor to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
