The Director of Grid Integration Strategy will report to the COO and/or the Chief Legal and Strategy Officer and play a key role in Oklo’s strategy related to grid integration. The successful candidate will be motivated, experienced, and excited to develop strategy based on their knowledge and research on federal, state, and local regulations related to grid integration, integrating this strategy with customer needs and ISO or utility requirements. The ability to stay organized and work across departments will be key success factors. It is expected that this role would interact often with the Business Development department, the Nuclear Regulatory Affairs department, the External Affairs department, the Legal department and with other strategic areas within Oklo such as Finance. Responsibilities
Developing strategy related to grid integration or other delivery to customer and identifying optimal strategies in different regions within the U.S. Implementing strategy via providing input for customer engagement, e.g. related to power purchase agreement terms. Potential engagement with officials from FERC, Public Utility Commissions, ISOs, etc. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions Reviewing or helping draft contract terms Keeping abreast of new regulations or other relevant news and developments in the U.S. power sector Perform other duties and special projects as assigned What we are looking for

Oklo Inc. is developing fast fission power plants to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy at scale; establishing a domestic supply chain for critical radioisotopes; and advancing nuclear fuel recycling to convert nuclear waste into clean energy. Oklo was the first to receive a site use permit from the U.S. Department of Energy for a commercial advanced fission plant, was awarded fuel material from Idaho National Laboratory, and submitted the first custom combined license application for an advanced reactor to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Oklo is also developing advanced fuel recycling technologies in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. National Laboratories.
