HR Generalist – 6-Month Contract (San Diego)
We’re looking for an HR Generalist to join a team on a 6-month contract in San Diego. This role is all about supporting our people operations and ensuring our HR processes run smoothly while creating a positive employee experience.

About the Role As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you’ll be a key driver of operational excellence. Your work will ensure HR programs and processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business initiatives. Most importantly, you’ll enhance the employee experience by streamlining workflows, executing with precision, and implementing best-in-class people practices.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries
Maintain accurate HR files, records, and documentation with confidentiality
Respond to questions on HR policies, benefits, and payroll
Generate and analyze reports from HRIS to support audits and reporting
Assist with payroll processes and employee support
Lead onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire orientation
Partner with managers on employee relations and workplace matters
Deliver HR programs including:
Delivery of: Compensation, benefits, and leave administration
Employee relations and performance management
Recognition and engagement initiatives
Health, safety, and compliance programs
Staying up to date on employment law, trends, and best practices
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
5–7 years of experience in HR, ideally supporting a technical workforce
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now a plus)
