Overview

Senior Developer Advocate, Enterprise Adoption at Postman. We are looking for an Enterprise Developer Advocate to join Postman’s Developer Relations team and help accelerate adoption of Postman in the enterprise. This is not a traditional evangelism role. You will serve as the technical bridge between grassroots developer adoption and enterprise-scale proof. Your mandate is to turn Postman’s technical depth into repeatable, scalable demonstrations that show how our platform solves real enterprise challenges across API governance, test automation, and AI agent workflows. Enterprise Developer Advocates are critical to Postman’s mission of being the collaborative API platform for the world’s largest organizations. Your work will show that Postman solves real enterprise problems, accelerates deals, and positions us as the trusted API platform today and the AI control plane of the future. Unlike a solutions engineer, you will capture solutions from SEs and scale them across hundreds of accounts, multiplying pipeline impact for Postman’s field, PMM, and sales teams. Responsibilities

Prove Postman at Scale: Create reference architectures that demonstrate how Postman enforces API governance, security and compliance, automated testing, monitoring, and how it integrates into existing customer technical landscapes and toolchains. Build Reusable Demos: Develop technical demo kits, reference repos, and “Workshop-in-a-Box” playbooks usable across accounts to shorten sales cycles and prove enterprise value. Tell the Story: Translate lighthouse customer successes into whitepapers and technical talks that connect developer credibility with enterprise buyer influence. Drive Agent Mode adoption in the Enterprise: champion Agent Mode adoption by creating prompt best practices, solution templates, gathering feedback, and partnering with Product Management to ensure it meets enterprise needs. Thought Leadership: Represent Postman at enterprise developer conferences, webinars, and CISO/CTO forums, showcasing governance, compliance, and AI challenges solved by our platform. Field Enablement: Partner with PMM and Sales Engineering to ensure the field has reusable, technically credible assets for active opportunities. What You Bring

8+ years of experience in software engineering, API design, or developer tooling roles. At least 3–5 years in developer advocacy, developer relations, or similar external-facing technical roles. Significant exposure to large enterprise environments where governance, adoption, and scale were real challenges. Technical Depth: Hands-on experience with API design, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and enterprise integration workflows. Familiarity with multiple API protocols and governance standards. Developer Relations Expertise: Proven ability to tell stories that resonate with developers and technical decision makers through talks, content, demos, or community building. Scalable Mindset: Experience packaging technical solutions into reusable assets (docs, code samples, workshops, demos) rather than one-off implementations. Strong Communicator: Ability to translate technical detail into executive-level outcomes and articulate how workflows solve real-world problems at scale. The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $210,000.00 to $240,000.00, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. What Else?

In addition to Postman’s pay-for-performance philosophy and a flexible schedule, Postman offers benefits including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, and a monthly lunch stipend. Our wellness programs support physical and mental health, with team-building events and a donation-matching program. We’re building a long-term company with an inclusive culture where everyone can be the best version of themselves. At Postman, we embrace a hybrid work model. For roles based in San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and New York, employees are expected to come into the office 3 days a week. Our Values
