The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall success and operational performance of a Wendy’s restaurant. This includes managing day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining high food quality standards, leading the team, driving sales, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. The GM will have full accountability for staffing, budgeting, and achieving financial goals while fostering a positive, high-performing environment. Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day restaurant operations and drive overall performance. Deliver exceptional guest service and uphold food quality standards. Lead and develop the restaurant team; foster a positive, high-performing environment. Drive sales, control costs, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Staffing, budgeting, and achieving financial goals. Skills & Qualifications

Experience: At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry; fast-casual or quick-service experience is highly preferred. Leadership: Ability to lead, develop a team, manage performance, and maintain a positive work environment. Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve complaints. Financial Acumen: Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving financial targets. Problem Solving: Ability to analyze situations and implement effective solutions. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities and staff for smooth operations. Attention to Detail: Focus on food quality, cleanliness, and health/safety compliance. Job Requirements

Stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with periodic breaks. Perform repetitive motions; frequent use of hands/arms for chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment. Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching. Walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed. Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly; use lifting equipment or seek assistance for heavier loads. Move around the kitchen quickly and efficiently. Comply with food safety and sanitation regulations. Work Environment / Job Conditions

Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Loud, fast-paced environment. Temperature variations and exposure to heat, cold, and cleaning chemicals in kitchen areas. Proper PPE and training for safety and comfort in temperature-sensitive tasks. Indoor and outdoor duties; curbside delivery and exterior maintenance as needed. Awareness of hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors.
