Overview

A global manufacturer is seeking an EHS Manager to lead the EHS function across two manufacturing facilities in the Oneida, NY area. The role manages two direct reports and is responsible for updating and maintaining the site\'s EHS systems and programs while driving a strong safety culture across the facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company\'s environmental and safety permits and programs
• Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for all EHS matters
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and EHS audits
• Interact with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Safety Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related technical field preferred
• 7+ years of EHS experience ideally within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
• Knowledgeable of applicable OSHA and EPA regulations
• Excellent leadership, organization and communication skills

Compensation

Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
