Overview

2nd Shift Warehouse Workers – PM start times – (THIS IS AN ON-SITE SWING SHIFT DOCK WORKER POSITION). We are seeking candidates for the 2nd shift Warehouse Associates (Los Angeles/Santa Fe Springs).

Prior forklift experience is helpful.

Compensation: $19.00 per hour to start

Hours & Schedule: 6pm to 2:30am, Monday to Friday, weekends off. Overtime is allowed if approved.

Essential Functions

• Load and unload freight in a safe, efficient manner to avoid shipping errors that result in customer claims or complaints.
• Load and unload trailers
• Perform re-weighs for each shift
• Perform daily freight inspections and inspections of lift truck and other equipment
• Inspect trailers for suitability before loading
• Perform basic housekeeping
• Recoup/palletize/shrink wrap freight as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of basic dock procedures
• Forklift experience in a dock setting
• Ability to identify and report recurring problems/safety issues
• 1-2 years of forklift experience
• Forklift certification is wanted but not required
