SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIAN

Work Hours 8 hour shift between 3:00 pm to 11:45 pm school dependent (MONDAY - FRIDAY). School Year: 2024-2025. Summer & School Breaks (non student days): 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Position Description: Provide evening support to the designated school for cleaning projects during the school year and summer cleaning months to provide the best possible environment for learning and teaching through the effective performance of all custodial duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out custodial duties as assigned to support a clean and safe learning environment.
• Perform cleaning projects during school year and summer cleaning months as required.

Requirements for Consideration

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to procure, or currently hold, an Industrial First Aid card at the first opportunity provided by the District.

REQUIRED PRIOR TO STARTING WORK: Unless you have been fingerprinted in a school district within the last two years, you will be required to have fingerprinting done. The Olympic ESD 114 (360.478.6881) in Bremerton offers digital live-scan fingerprinting services by appointment for a fee of $83.00.

Upon hire, employee will be eligible to earn sick leave. This position is not projected to meet the six hundred thirty hours of employment in a school year for SEBB benefits.
