Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to manage the daily HR operations, including new hire orientations, employee relations, benefits, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will serve as a key point of contact for employees regarding HR processes, support management in developing HR policies, and contribute to a healthy workplace by fostering positive employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a bridge between employees and management, addressing grievances and fostering a constructive work environment.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Conduct new hire orientations, ensure proper set-up of employee in payroll system, conduct exit interviews, and manage offboarding procedures.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate the employee performance appraisal system.
  • Employee Benefits: Administer the internal employee benefits programs.
  • Training & Development: Assess manager and employee training needs in the area of HR and facilitate the training process.
  • Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to all federal and state HR regulations and assists in developing comprehensive HR policies and procedures.
  • Reporting: Complete monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with HR software (Paylocity preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Employee Navigator is a plus
