Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual needs. Prescribe medication and monitor its effectiveness. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. Offer crisis intervention and support to patients in acute distress. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings. Stay informed about advancements in the field of psychiatry. Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification in Psychiatry. Valid state medical license to practice as a Psychiatrist. Proven experience working in psychiatric settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Empathy and compassion towards patients. Schedule: 8-hour shifts 24-hour call required Duties: Routine, urgent, and emergent mental health care, suicide prevention and crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, and discharge planning and reentry coordination Payd travel & expenses
