Senior Scientist - Antibody Discovery at SystImmune. Location: Redmond, WA and Princeton, NJ. SystImmune is a leading and well-funded clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative cancer treatments using bi-specific, multi-specific antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). The company has multiple assets in various stages of clinical trials for solid tumor and hematologic indications and maintains a robust preclinical pipeline. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Scientist to join our Antibody Discovery Group. The successful candidate will advance antibody discovery efforts through target analysis, immunogen design, B-cell sorting, flow cytometry, ELISA, and yeast library screening in a dynamic and innovative environment focused on developing novel therapeutic antibodies. Responsibilities

Perform in-depth analysis of potential targets, including clinical landscape, biology, protein structure, and literature review Design and execute antibody discovery campaigns from immunization to lead delivery Perform high throughput sorting to isolate specific B cell populations Design, execute, and analyze FACS experiments to validate and characterize antibodies Develop, optimize, and perform assays (ELISA, BLI, flow cytometry) for antibody screening and specificity testing Conduct yeast display library screening to identify and analyze antibody candidates Analyze and compare BCR sequences and immune repertoires Analyze experimental data and prepare detailed reports and presentations Work with cross-functional teams and contribute to project planning and strategy Maintain accurate records, ensure safety compliance, and contribute to lab organization Qualifications

Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field 3+ years of hands-on experience in B-cell sorting and screening through flow cytometry, ELISA and bio-layer interferometry 3+ years of hands-on experience in yeast library preparation, culture, and screening Knowledge of antibody structure; general knowledge of structural biology is a plus Extensive knowledge of B-cell immunology and antibody development Extensive knowledge of cancer immunology Proven contribution to therapeutic antibody development is highly desirable Experience in NGS library preparation and BCR repertoire analysis is also desirable Technical Skills

Proficiency in flow cytometry and cell sorting techniques Experience in biolayer interferometry (affinity, avidity, binning) or similar assays Strong background in ELISA assay development and optimization Expertise in molecular biology techniques related to yeast display libraries Familiarity with data analysis software and statistical tools (e.g., FlowJo, OCTET, GraphPad Prism, Geneious Prime) Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Work Environment

The employee will work in a molecular biology laboratory alongside other scientists and in a standard business office with desktop equipment and a moderate noise level. Compensation and Benefits

The expected base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $140,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on factors including qualifications, experience, and skills. We offer comprehensive benefits including 100% paid employee premiums for medical/dental/vision, for STD/LTD, a 401(k) with a 50% company match of up to 3% and a vesting schedule of 5 years, 15 PTO days per year, sick leave, and 11 paid holidays.
