Provide high-level building review and design services for a broad range of clientele. Architectural design, including detailing, and delegation of work to intern architects and designers, and review of their work. Preparation and review of design reports, building condition surveys, construction drawings and specifications; and verification of construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications. Client engagement and interaction; proposal and fee development; project site investigations; code review and analysis. Maintain a strong working knowledge of basic construction and industry standards, and state building codes; collaborate with structural, electrical, mechanical and civil engineers for integrated project design solutions. Qualifications
B.S. in Architecture with a minimum of 10+ years of diverse consulting engineering experience on municipal, commercial, private, and/or industrial facilities projects. Acute analytical skills; ability to design and manage small to large projects; comprehensive technical background across architectural and building design; code review and client management. Software capabilities include Microsoft Office, Revit, and AutoCAD. Experience with proposal development and mentoring junior staff; strong written and verbal communication skills. Desirable: LEED AP certification; registration as a Registered Architect (RA) in CT or MD or eligible to obtain. Compensation & Benefits
Estimated pay range:
